‘Electric Window’ na The Wrong Biennale

THE WRONG BIENNALE nº 5 está aberta e ELECTRIC WINDOW está incluído no pavilhão ESSENCE / ABSENCE, com curadoria de Matteo Campulla. O espaço virtual de exposição 3D foi criado em parceria com a New Art City.

O pavilhão pretende aprofundar a oposição binária entre essência e ausência em um mundo onde o ‘ser’ muitas vezes coincide com nossa presença online. Criada em 2013 na Itália, The Wrong Biennale é uma bienal de arte global descentralizada premiada com sois cultura 2019 e ehrenerwähnung na s+t+arts 2o2o.

In a world where “being” often coincides with our online presence, reality itself becomes a “break” from our virtual life.The pavilion intends to deepen the binary opposition between essence and absence, starting from the Hegelian concept “The truth of being is the essence” (die Wahrheit des Seins ist das Wesen). Being and nothingness, according to Hegel, really coexist in the becoming which is a continuous passage of the two opposites. Taking up the Spinozian conception according to which “every determination is a negation” (Omnis determinatio est negatio) every characteristic that being assumes occurs with a negation with respect to the totality.

De Filadélfia a Orlando, US

Neste sábado 22/5 das 10am às 10pm (horário leste americano – EST) duas obras participam na mostra HERE AND THERE, programa virtual com 12 horas de streaming em transmissões simultâneas de Filadélfia e Orlando, nos Estados Unidos. Realizada em colaboração entre WINDOW ROOM e PARKHAUS15, a mostra traz 71 artistas internacionais em live streaming, detalhes abaixo.

EVENTIDE will be shown at 10 am in a compact version (10 mins) within the POETICISM program, curated by Pasquale Palladino, Matt T Helme and Angelina Voskopoulou by P V H Film Production.

SISYHPUS WORKS will be presented at 4:10 pm (EST) as a virtual video installation, designed to Window Room, on two screens side by side.

HERE and THERE is a collaboration between Window Room in Philadelphia and Parkhaus15 in Orlando, featuring 71 international artists in live streaming.

Via Farini Open Studio

O Via Farini Open Studio acontece nesta quinta 10 de setembro, encerrando o ciclo de residência iniciado em maio. O evento faz parte da Milano Art Week, com organização e curadoria de Patrizia Brusarosco e Giulio Verago. O estúdio na Via Carlo Farini 35 em Milão estará aberto ao público das 10h às 19h e contará com a presença dos artistas.
